This USPS Step 4 Decision to the NALC outlines Management's position on the provisions for distributing mail as contained in the supervisor's job description refer to clerk duties and not the routing of mail into a carrier case.  To this extent, we find the grievance is sustained.  By copy of this letter, the Postmaster is instructed to advise the Assistant to the Postmaster that the referenced bargaining unit work as  contained in his position description refers only to those functions performed by distribution clerks and not the routing of mail into a carrier case.
