This Step 4 Settlement Agreement addresses whether supervisors are performing bargaining-unit work when they input data into RMIS, and if that input is in violation of the National Agreement. Whether supervisors are performing bargaining-unit functions in relation to data input into RMIS must be determined through review of the respective job descriptions of the individuals involved and comparison to the actual duties in dispute. The parties at this level agreed that RMIS is a multi-user system utilized by both bargaining and non bargaining unit employees in accordance with their individual responsibilities.
