The issue in this grievance is whether an employee's medical records must be released to the union when they are requested during the investigation of a grievance. During our discussion, we mutually agreed that the release of medical records to the Union is provided for in the Administrative Support Manual, Appendix (p. 42) (USPS 120.090). Accordingly, this grievance is sustained and the records in dispute will be provided to the union.
