This National Level Pre-Arbitration Settlement Agreement addresses whether an employee may be required to report an accident to his immediate supervisor on the day it occurs; however, completion of the appropriate forms will be in accordance with applicable rules and regulations and may not be on the day of the accident. They further agreed that any corrective action that may be initiated for failure to properly report an accident would have to stand the test of just cause on a case-by-case basis.
