This grievance involves the correct input for·leave without pay that is used by union stewards. During our discussion, we agreed that when a steward requests leave without pay for the purpose of performing official union business, the approved leave will be charged to LWOP - Union Officials (leave type code 28). Accordingly, as agreed, this case is remanded to Step 3 for compliance with the above.
