The question in these grievances is whether the·grievants are entitled to be paid for the time spent studying and passing the scheme(s). During our discussion, we mutually agreed to full and final settlement of these cases without precedent or prejudice to the position of either party and that this settlement applies only to these specific cases. It was also agreed that this settlement will not be cited in any future grievance or arbitration, or forum, or used for any other purpose whatsoever. The settlement is as follows:
1. The three grievants shall be compensated for scheme study time spent on the specific scheme(s) cited and passed in the grievances for which they received no compensation.
2. These cases will be remanded to the local level to determine the appropriate amount of compensation.
