During our discussion, we concluded that at issue in this grievance is whether Letter Sorting Machine operators should be given on-the-clock training when distribution changes occur. After reviewing the information provided, it is our mutual understanding that Parts 550 & 552 Interim Publication 118 and Part 50 ·of the M-54 Handbook require retraining of keyboard operators when distribution changes occur. Such training maybe accomplished in productive machine distribution or in a formal class setting. It is further agreed that a distribution change did occur in the instant
case described in this grievance.
