This grievance involves the procedures followed in conducting EDITS. During our discussion, we.agreed to resolve this case based on our mutual understanding of Handbook M-16, Section 633, which provides, in part, "After the supervisor has analyzed the EDIT tape, calculated the error rate and documented the data required for the Sample Keycode Data Analysis and the ZMT Individual Performance Record, the EDIT tape and the corresponding sample letters must be shown to the operator..." We also agreed that if an operator refuses to initial EDIT tapes, the provisions of Section 634 will be applied.
