The question raised in this grievance involved whether the Custodial Laborer, Level 3 and the Fireman-Laborer, Level 4 are entitled to higher level pay, when cleaning the cancelling machines. After further review of this matter, we mutually agreed that no national interpretive issue is fairly presented in that this type of work is the same type of duties that a Mechanic-Helper, who is a level 4, would perform. Accordingly, as we further agreed, this case is hereby remanded to the parties at Step 3 for further processing, if necessary.
