The question in this grievance is whether the letter of demand issued for a shortage of fixed credits revealed during a transfer of philatelic credit by two clerks who counted the stock and monies in the credit was proper. During our discussion, it was mutually agreed that the following would represent a full settlement of this case:
The grievant will be reimbursed amount of the shortage, $102.54 and all future examinations of stock transfer will be handled in accordance with the provisions of the F-1, Financial Handbook for Post Offices, especially Appendix D, Sections D-115.2 and D-134.
