The question in this grievance is whether management violated Article 19 of the National Agreement by checking the continuing validity of state drivers licenses of employees upon reissuance of SF-46. It is our position that the USPS may require a driver to produce his/her state license at anytime, and may verify the license continuing validity with state authorities at anytime. The grievance file in this case disclosed nothing which conflicts with our position. Accordingly, the grievance is denied.
