The question in this grievance is whether or not management violated Article XXXIV of the National Agreement by posting production goals on the workroom floor. In our view, this grievance does not involve a National interpretive question. According to local management officials, the numbers posted do not represent mandatory standards of performance bat are footage goals needed to meet the overall production goal. They have also stated that while no employees will be disciplined purely for not meeting the goals, they will be responsible for doing a fair day's work for a fair day's pay. Under these circumstances, we find no contractual violation and the grievance is denied.
