The issue in this grievance concerns the payment of travel time and expenses to employees who are assigned outside of their installation but within the local commuting area. After further review of this matter, we agreed that there was no national interpretive issue fairly presented as to the meaning and intent of Articles 19 and 36 of the National Agreement. We further agreed that compensation for travel must be consistent with the provisions of the National Agreement and the M-9 Handbook (Travel).
