The issue in this grievance is whether management may assign an employee to a 204-B detail for less than 8 hours in a service day. After further review of the matter, we mutually agreed that there was no dispute between the parties at this level on this issue. Employees may be assigned to an acting supervisor status for less than 8 hours in a service day. However, the local union is still entitled to a copy of Form 1723 (Notice of Assignment) in accordance with Article 37, Section 3.A.7. Accordingly, as we further agreed, this case is hereby considered closed.
