We mutually agree that an employee who qualifies on the essential scheme requirements during the deferment period provided in Article XXXVlI, Section 3.F.3 must be placed in the new assignment within 21 days of the qualification date. In this particular case, the grievant should have been placed in the new assignment no later than June 7, 1979. However, since the date of actual assignment was June 14, 1979, he will be compensated for the hours worked during that period which were outside the schedule of the new assignment.
