Using ZOOM for Local Negotiations

On September 23, 2020 at 3:00 pm EST, the Industrial Relations Department will be hosting a webinar on how a local could use ZOOM to conduct local negotiations. The training will consist reviewing how to set up a meeting, setting up waiting rooms, how to create and use additional meeting or “caucus” rooms, screen sharing, exchanging documents, basic settings, and the difference between the “licensed” and “free” ZOOM accounts. This training is designed for local presidents or their designees (chief spokespersons, staff who may be moderating/setting up the meetings). This course will be focused on using the desktop/laptop web app for hosting ZOOM negotiations. Therefore, participants should all have access to desktop or laptop for this training.
