APWU National Executive Board Votes Unanimously to Join No Kings Coalition, Cosponsor March 28 National Mobilization

As the Trump administration’s threats of postal privatization and attacks on Vote-by-Mail continue to escalate, APWU leadership is once again mobilizing to defend our public Postal Service and the communities we serve.

The APWU National Executive Board (NEB) voted unanimously to join the No Kings Coalition and co-sponsor its March 28 National Day of Action, where millions of Americans will take to the streets and stand together against the Trump administration’s abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption and remind the president that “America has no kings!” The APWU NEB is the governing body of the APWU and encourages members to attend local actions to show their support for our public Postal Service, to make it clear that the U.S. Mail Is Not for Sale, and that Vote-by-Mail is safe, reliable, and accessible!

President Trump’s second term has been rife with attacks on our nation’s core democratic principles, the rule of law, immigrant communities, public services, and working people. America does not belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who rule through fear. It belongs to us, the people. And so does the public Postal Service! The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings—and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty, or threats of postal privatization and attacks on Vote-by-Mail.

On March 28, we will make it clear that we, the people, have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. To find an event near you, visit: www.mobilize.us/nokings.

No Kings is a mass, nonviolent movement that has already mobilized millions of Americans at thousands of actions since June 2025 to defend our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence, reject authoritarian power grabs, and defend dignity and freedom.

The APWU NEB is proud to join the coalition organizing No Kings actions across the country, including the ACLU, American Federation of Teachers, Common Defense, 50501, Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible, League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, National Nurses United, Public Citizen, SEIU, among others.
