An Update on the Social Security Fairness Act

Time is running out to get the Social Security Fairness Act (HR 82) passed. We are asking every APWU member to call Monday, September 9th and demand our representatives sign the discharge petition (HR 1410).
Settlement on Severance Pay and Early Retirement
This is a pre-arbitration settlement over whether employees are entitled to severance pay when they elect early retirement in accordance with Article 6, Section B. 4 of the National Agreement.
