Thomas Appointed to Vacant NBA Position

Phil Thomas has been appointed to fill the Clerk Craft National Business Agent (A) position in the Wichita Region, effective April 7. The APWU Clerk Division Council approved the appointment at a meeting of the National Executive Council in March.

Clerk Craft Director Rob Strunk selected Thomas, who will work at the NBA office in Oklahoma City. In accordance with Article 21 of the APWU Constitution, craft directors fill vacancies within their divisions, subject to the approval of other national officers in the craft. Prior to his appointment, Thomas served as president of the Omaha [NE] Area Local.
