APWU Electronic Grievance System to Undergo Maintenance This Weekend
The American Postal Workers Union’s Electronic Grievance System will be offline intermittently for scheduled maintenance and upgrades beginning Friday evening.
The EGS will undergo a software release starting at 7 pm ET on Jan. 30, with an expected outage of approximately one hour, according to the EGS system provider.
Additional network maintenance and hardware upgrades are scheduled for early Saturday morning, Jan. 31, from 1 am to 4 am ET.
Users may experience brief service interruptions during both maintenance windows, including temporary delays or brief reconnections while work is in progress.
The updates are part of ongoing improvements to the software and hardware that support the grievance filing system used by APWU members and stewards nationwide.
APWU members should contact support if they experience issues outside the scheduled maintenance windows.
