D.D. Johnson Wins Motor Vehicle NBA Election

D.D. Johnson has won the race for Motor Vehicle Services National Business Agent in the Southwest Sub-Region, defeating W.E. Graham, 315-211. The race was a re-run of a contest originally held in November 2007, as part of the election of more than 80 national officers. Johnson won last year’s race, 246-198.
The new election was conducted under the supervision of the Department of Labor, in accordance with the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act. The APWU agreed to re-run the election to resolve an investigation by the agency.
